Our first North Side Cup victory came against Northwestern at their pitch in the spring of 1995. We won 30-13 with the one and only Jimmy Oneill running in 2 trys. To my knowledge this was the first time we beat Northwestern and the first winning season we had.
We finished 2nd in the Purdue tournament to a very over-aged Purdue team back before CIPPs were used. We finished that spring, Pat Carroll's first season as coach, with a 6 and 5 record including the tournament games capped by our victory over Northwestern.
